Planning on catching some beads and watching some parades this weekend? There are ten parades and processions this weekend with the big finale on Fat Tuesday. Keep in mind that guests can catch the city shuttle from Hotel Galvez & Spa to the Mardi Gras Uptown Entertainment District and The Tremont House is located in the heart of the Mardi Gras District.

Parades & Processions:
Nine of the ten parades this weekend take place in the Uptown Entertainment District. Hotel Galvez guests can take advantage of the City shuttle to the district to catch the downtown parades. If you purchase the Mardi Gras package, make sure to check on your tickets to the Uptown Entertainment Distict. Tremont House guests can explore the district or walk just outside the hotel to enjoy a passing parade. By the way, nearly every parade passes in front of The Tremont House.

Mardi Gras Brunch at Hotel Galvez
Sunday Brunch at Hotel Galvez takes on a Mardi Gras flair during the carnival season featuring a rotation of New Orleans inspired menu items such as jambalaya, etouffee, boudin, and bread pudding, along with many of the standard brunch favorites. Sunday Brunch at Hotel Galvez is considered one of the Top 100 Brunches in the US by Open Table users and is a “must” for the weekend. Sunday Brunch features a huge seafood display, made-to-order-omelets, waffle station, pasta bar, carving station with two options, an array of sides and entrees as well as a hallway full of desserts.
