Life is about making memories. Spending the afternoon with family and friends participating in the celebration of Afternoon Tea at The Tremont House is something no one will soon forget. Traditional Teas are scheduled on Sunday, Sept. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 13, 2045 in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the hotel. The Tremont House invites guests to join them in a revival of her original practice for tea in the atrium accompanied by customary goodies and complemented by the music of harpist Andrea Fronk.
The Tremont House is currently taking reservations for its Tremont Tea Society package which includes a room for two, tea service for two and valet. The package starts at $196 and is available for that Sunday night. Staff will begin taking reservations for the Sept. 13 Tea and Dec. 13 Tea on the first day of the corresponding month.
Tea will be served promptly at 3 p.m. and features the following menu:
Assorted Mini Salads
- Chicken, Apples, Raisins Salad in Endive.
- Feta, Kalamata Olives, Grape Tomato in Cucumber Cup.
Assorted Tea Sandwiches
- Cucumber Mint on Rye Bread
- Tomato, Basil, Mozzarella on Sourdough Bread
- Prosciutto, Asparagus on White Bread
- Roasted Beef, Horseradish Cream, Arugula on Mini Brioche
Assorted Freshly Baked Bread
- Banana Nut Bread
- Assorted Scones
- Assorted Pastries
Flavored Sweet Butter Cream, Devonshire Cream, Assorted Preserves.
- Assorted Petite Fours
- Mini Assorted Cheese Cakes
- Assorted Macaroons and Tarts
Tea fans will enjoy choosing from the following tea selection: Earl Grey, Assam Black, Ceylon Black, Chamomile, Mint, and Rose Congou Teas. Individual tea service and food offerings are $40/pp and $50/pp for the additional choice of wine, champagne and mimosas. Advance reservations are required and available by calling 409.763.0300.
