You have the option of painting your striking Galveston surroundings by having an art lesson in your kayak.
On the island there are fitness groups for all types of athletes or those just looking for something active. If you are a CrossFit fan there are four CrossFit gyms in Galveston. Choose from CrossFit Galveston, CrossFit Tidal Wave, CrossFit Undercurrent and CrossFit Flying Fortress.
Fit Tri Run offers social groups for various race training.
