Galveston Beach Band Summer Band Concerts
Since the 1920s, a band composed of area musicians called the Galveston Beach Band have performed big band music and other popular show tunes on Tuesdays in the summer beginning in June through August. Concerts are held at the Sealy Gazebo, 2300 Sealy, beginning at 7:30 p.m. and end at about 9 p.m. Concerts are free and seating is provided. This summer concert series is family friendly and always ends with a children’s American flag parade to the tune of Mickey Mouse Club theme song. You’ll love it. It’s classic Galveston fun.

For locals the event is like a little town reunion and for visitors it’s an opportunity to explore Galveston’s beautiful historic downtown.
