A Three-Day Itinerary for Foodies

First, check into your hotel and relax a while before taking a ride on the Galveston Island Trolley for a little light exploring. For dinner, indulge in freshly-caught seafood at Gaido’s or the Black Pearl Oyster Bar. Afterward, enjoy a nightcap and the panoramic view from The Rooftop Bar at The Tremont House.

In the morning, head out to discover a mouth-watering selection of brunch items at the Sunflower Bakery and Café. Follow this up with a visit to historic Bishop’s Palace and lunch at the Mosquito Café, or some excellent Texas “que” at Leon's World Finest Bar-B-Que or Queen’s Bar-B-Que. Spend the rest of the day at Pier 21 exploring the many rides and attractions before treating yourself to a delectable evening meal and a breathtaking sunset view at either Willie G’s or Fisherman’s Wharf.

On your final morning, stop in at Hotel Galvez & Spa for their famous Sunday brunch. Lastly, don’t leave without a sweet afternoon visit to Hey Mikey’s Ice Cream and La King's Confectionary for some luscious homemade treats. Enhance your downtown stay with the elegance and charm at The Tremont House. For the best in beachfront luxury, check into Hotel Galvez & Spa. If you prefer gorgeous harbor views and nearby access to Pier 21, book your stay at Harbor House Hotel & Marina.
