A Galveston holiday tradition returns downtown! The 48th Annual Dickens on the Strand Festival returns December 3-5 with a full itinerary of events. Transport back to 19th-century Victorian London as the streets come alive with live performances and family programming.

If you are in town, you don’t want to miss the festival kickoff on Friday. December 3. at the beautiful 1892 Bishop’s Palace! The Dickens Soiree starts at 7 p.m. where food, wine, and live music are calling your name. Stick around for special guest appearances and an aerial acrobatic performance.

Start your morning on Saturday, December 4 with A Dickensian Breakfast. Experience an English-inspired meal in the 1859 Ashton Villa home, surrounded by surprise performances and guests. Later in the day, the Galveston Historical Foundation’s Texas Seaport Museum invites you for an evening at a London-style wharf. Get tickets now for Salute To Sunset and enjoy delicious appetizers and a cocktail in hand aboard the docked 1877 Elissa Tall Ship.
