Terrific Ways to Tour Galveston

Here are our suggestions for some fun ways to enjoy sightseeing around town. First, the Galveston Island Trolley runs daily from Stewart Beach to Moody Gardens and the historic downtown area. Bicycle rentals are also widely available featuring a variety of bikes, rates, and tour information. We recommend Island Bicycle Company on the Seawall and Zipp E-Bikes on Mechanic Street. Or, take advantage of Galveston Historic Tours and catch all the action from a comfy seat in a 14-passenger van, or rent a Segway at SegCity Segway Galveston. Two additional relaxing ways to get around are with Coastal Cruizers Custom Carts golf cart rentals, or a fascinating land and water excursion with Galveston Duck Tours; covering the Seawall, Offatts Bayou, and the Strand District.

Galveston offers our guests a myriad of luxurious accommodations, including the Harbor House Hotel & Marina, which features a breathtaking view of the harbor. If you prefer a stay in the Historic Strand District, The Tremont House is ideal. Be sure to visit their Rooftop Bar and enjoy a stunning rooftop view with your libations. Lastly, don’t miss the famous Sunday Brunch along with a fabulous beach view, at Hotel Galvez & Spa.
