Yaga's Wild Game & BBQ Cookoff

Immerse yourself in Galveston tradition and make sure to come hungry! The 26th Annual Wild Game Cookoff returns to Pier 21 in Galveston on May 13th and 14th, benefiting Yaga’s Children’s Fund, which will in turn provide for children's charities in Galveston County.

This popular event brings in hundreds for a weekend of entertainment and delectable BBQ. Kick-off the weekend mingling and dancing at the VIP Sponsor Party; your ticket includes an open bar and music by The Jetties. On that Saturday, you can run off those extra vacation calories at the 5k Fun Run, sponsored by Beerfoot Brewery (of course your registration includes a free drink!) Saturday is also free for kids, where they even have their own special fun area from 11 am- 4 pm. There’s something for everyone at the cookoff!

Do something different on your trip to Galveston; have fun while giving back as, again, proceeds go to the beneficiaries of the Yaga's Children's Fund.
